Anime, what do you expect? I love watching it. Ever since I
was little, I watched a lot of oldies, like DBZ, Bt'X and Yu Yu Hakusho.
I also watched some sentais like Fiveman, and Jetman.

The local TV showed different anime dubbed and I watched them before studying.
The anime that I really liked before was Gundam Wing. It was very different from
the superrobots like Voltes V. GMA7 and ABS-CBN showed a lot and I was hooked.

As time ed, I watched a lot more when we had AXN and Animax in our television.
Shows like GTO, Grander Musashi, Chobits etc. were the shows I watched. But sadly,
it was cut off. The shows were limited when we switched cables so I slowly drifted away from anime.

After a few years, we had a computer and internet. At first I only read manga because I watched FMA(original) and heard that the manga was different. Then I read more manga like Rosario+Vampire and Ichigo100%. Then my friends gave me links to anime sites and burned some DVDs for me to watch. Once again, I was hooked to anime. And now I realized, despite watching anime my whole life, it was too little compared to other people, especially my classmates.

My goal now is to watch as many anime as possible because I lost some time before when I lost Axn and Animax. But because of experience, knowledge and time constraints, I'll only watch what interests me. I'll also watch what my friends say, as well as high rating anime. Also, I'll be watching the latest anime every season.


About my list:

My list consists of anime that I watched recently, I'm watching right now and what I want to watch. I haven't placed anime that I watched years before, mainly because some of them I haven't finished(and too lazy to continue), some I can't , and some I don't want to mention. I will try to update my list with those anime as well as updates of what I'm watching.

My manga list consists of mangas I picked up, given to me, or I read by popular demand. Some of them are released irregularly but if they haven't been updated for a long time, it's placed on my on-hold list.


Scoring:

Even though they are still airing, I place a score on the shows I'm watching because that is what I think on that anime at the moment. Many would say that scoring should be done after the show finished, but just let me be. I don't tell you how to score your list so, to each his own. It may also help if people viewing my list want to check if what I'm watching is good or not. I also use the tags to place my comments on the show.
Note: OVAs, specials and movies don't apply to my scoring.

Here's how I rate:
6 - I watched it...I finished it...It's a miracle in and of itself. Everything was just wrong with shows I scored with this. No good thing, no rewatch value, nothing. Story, characters and ending; any or all of those are messed up. This is the lowest score I give to anime because making one itself is hard work and deserves some points but only up to that.
7 - It was good up to the climax but then it plummeted to a horrible ending. There were only 1 or 2 things I enjoyed with shows with this score but that wasn't enough. It had potential but something went wrong.
8 - I enjoyed it. The show kept me hooked for some reason yet it still wasn't enough. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good. It kept my attention while I was watching it. Some fine tuning and it would be greater.
9 - Every episode is great! It keeps me excited for the next episode. There are only 1 or 2 things that I don't like with shows with this score.
10 - Masterpiece! Shows with this score didn't disappoint me. I cried, I laughed, I was intrigued, I was mind blown by everything that this show has to offer. Definitely worth rewatching.

My manga list has a different scoring than my anime list. I'll fix my scoring for it some time in the future so do not take my scores there seriously. Basically for now, when a manga is boring or ok, it's an 8. When it's interesting and entertaining, it's a 9. When it's very great and totally engaging, it's a 10.
